this is not a religious hindu wedding ceremony, but only a wedding ceremony in balinese traditional way of conducting a wedding. two balinese girls dressed in the balinese costume will be your bride maids. the decoration of the wedding venue will also be in a balinese décor.

however the wedding ceremony itself will be a fully legal ceremony, which may be performed in a religious ceremony and in the civil ceremony. the religious ceremony will be conducted by a religious leader/ representative of your own religious belief e.g a priest for the catholics, a minister for the christians/ protestant, etc. and the civil ceremony will be conducted by the civil registrar from the civil registry office, kindly note that there are only 5 religions recognized by the indonesian government, i.e catholic, christian/ protestant, moslem, hinduism, and buddhism. Therefore the religious ceremony will only be performed according to one of these 5 religions.

  requirements for a wedding ceremony for foreign citizens:  
 
1 photocopy of birth certificate and valid passport  
2 6 (six) pcs of recent photograph, size 4x6  
3 certificate of no impediment to marriage issued by the consulate in bali. the certificates should be received by the hotel 2 days before the wedding date.  
4 a decree nisi of dissolution of marriage (if applicable)  
5 clients should enroll the civil registry office 10 days prior to the intended wedding ceremony, and have to fill out the registration form. if the client stay for the short period in bali, the clients should be fill out the registration form (will be send by the hotel by e- mail or fax) and send the original form to hotel 10 days before the wedding date.  
6 clients who are catholic and wish to be blessed by the catholic priest should attach a letter from the catholic church in clients country authorizing the ceremony to be held by the catholic church in bali  
7 letter notifying change of sure name (if any) from the barrister/ solicitor  
8 copies of passport of bride, groom and witnesses
